Short Film

One of the biggest projects we worked on during the first year of my studies was the Short Film. We were given the task of creating a short film from start to finish, going through the entire production process.

We began by forming a team, developing a concept, and writing a script around it. Once the script was ready, we divided roles among the team members, including producer, director, lighting, director of photography (DOP), editor, audio, and set designer. I took on the roles of DOP, lighting, and editing, responsibilities that I truly loved.

During pre-production, we had to create various documents such as call sheets, release forms, and more. Additionally, we arranged actors through casting calls and audition videos, secured locations, gathered props, and prepared everything needed for the shoot.

Once everything was set, we had two incredible shooting days. Working with my crew was an amazing experience, we filmed, learned, and grew together throughout the process. After filming, post-production began, and we dedicated a significant amount of time to editing. Since none of us had prior experience in making a short film, the entire project was a learning experience. Despite the challenges, I loved every part of it.
